In groups and by voice

Want to use your agent in a Telegram group? This lesson is for you. (If you only use it privately on your own, feel free to skip it — no guilt.)

Connect your own bot

By default, your agent lives in @equipo360_bot (or whichever bot you signed up through). But you can connect your own Telegram bot if you'd rather.

• /telegram 🟡 — connects your own Telegram bot. You'll need the token that BotFather gives you. Always do this in private: a token is secret.

Your agent in groups

Once you have your bot, you can add it to groups. But there's an important difference between regular groups and groups with topics (threads).

• /telegramgroups 🔴 — configures how the bot behaves in groups. For example: making it respond only when mentioned, or who's allowed to use it.

Tip: in large groups, set the bot to respond only when it's mentioned. That way you won't overwhelm anyone.
